Since I want to begin my blog with the start of sophomore year I'll give a little recap of my first few days at Concordia. Sunday was move in day and man was it HOT! Literally I was dripping sweat and chugging water! So nast! My mom and I drove up together and had some mother/daughter bonding before we had to say our goodbyes for the school year. It's so weird to think that one year ago college was a totally new, exciting and scary adventure. This year, I was beyond ready to be back at school with my friends, living away from home and just having fun!

Sunday night all the way to Wednesday night my roommate and I did A LOT of stuff. We organized, shopped, hung out with friends, worked out, job searched, shopped some more, bought stuff for our dorm, and worked out. We tried to do as much as possible in air conditioning because our dorm room was soooo freaking hot! I literally got no sleep! And of course my roommate wants to wake up at the crack of dawn (5:00) to go workout! Love that girl to death but man, that is an early morning. And not only did we wake up early this past week everyday but we are going to for the rest of the semester!! Ughh, not ready for that!
But I am really glad that Bailey motivates me to work out and eat healthy. Last year we both wanted to work out and eat better and we both ended up losing weight and just feeling healthier and better about ourselves. This summer Bailey did a really good job of maintaining her healthy habits while I didn't do so well. I worked at a church camp this summer and it wasn't always easy to eat good foods and workout everyday. But Bailey is going to whip my butt into gear this year and hopefully I can reach the goals that I have set for myself!
I can't wait to see all of the fun and exciting things that are yet to come this year! :)
Here are some pictures from the first day of class!

To end each post I want to reflect on the important things in life. I've learned that life is so short and so great that we need to learn to appreciate the little things. Try and remember how blessed you are each year, each month and even each day! This life has too many good things to be anything but happy :)
